Dear WSAPD Members, As summer comes to an end, I hope you’ve enjoyed some well-deserved time with family, friends, and colleagues. First, we want to express our support for our colleagues in Eastern Washington impacted by the devastating wildfires, particularly those in the Spokane area. Our thoughts are with you and your communities. If you or your practice has experienced hardship, support may be available through the WSPD Disaster Relief Program. While summer may slow down, your WSAPD Board has been busy planning for the future. We’ve developed an Investment Policy Strategy to support WSAPD’s long-term financial health, are continuing to modernize our bylaws, and are planning an exciting lineup of continuing education opportunities for 2027. As membership renewal season approaches, I'd also like to reflect on why being part of WSAPD matters. Our state chapter serves as the collective voice for pediatric dentists in Washington, providing advocacy on issues that impact our profession, delivering high-quality continuing education, fostering leadership development, and creating meaningful opportunities to connect with colleagues. None of this is possible without the engagement and support of our members. Thank you for your continued engagement and support of WSAPD. We look forward to seeing many of you in October at the WSAPD Annual Meeting and we wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable remainder of the summer! As always, we welcome your thoughts and feedback at info@wsapd.org. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable remainder of the summer! Gratefully, |
